I’m sorry. Ahsoka episode 3 is my favorite so far and this show is everything it’s supposed to be. It’s STAR WARS. I don’t know why people complain and say that this is not real Star Wars. You never know what you want anyway because everything has to be a problem now.
Overall, I liked Ahsoka episode 3 more than the first 2. I still think the villains (Balan, Shin, and Marrak) are the most interesting part of the show, although David Tennant as Huyang sold me on it. week. The nod to Star Wars Resistance was also a factor here.
That Ahsoka episode was fantastic! Wonderful focus on characters, lots of funny and charming moments, a superbly choreographed and directed space fight, and even some insights into New Republic politics. MUSIC! This series really feels like one big Star Wars adventure.
E3 was shorter, but it had all the humor, politics, character development, and action you could want; there’s a shot of a single cup that’s better written than most of the newer SW shows. Also, my gosh, how good is Kevin Kiner’s music, really? So many great instruments.
I’m really liking Ahsoka so far. These new Disney+ and Star Wars shows are so much better than the annual movies and I hope they continue to be as strong as they have been.
