A personal airplane has crashed in Moscow’s Tver area, killing all 10 individuals on board.
Russia information company TASS experiences that Wagner mercenary group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was amongst these on board.
The Embraer plane, en route from Moscow to St Petersburg, was carrying seven passengers and three crew, TASS mentioned on Wednesday.
“A personal Embraer Legacy plane travelling from Moscow to Saint Petersburg crashed close to the village of Kuzhenkino within the Tver Area. There have been 10 individuals on board, together with 3 crew members. In line with preliminary info, all these on board died,” the ministry for emergency scenario mentioned on Telegram.
Danield Hawkins, a journalist in Moscow, informed Al Jazeera that “experiences within the Russian media, unconfirmed thus far, are saying this plane may have been taken down by air defence programs”.
“Prigozhin was amongst these on board or was not less than listed as amongst these individuals on board.
